Just trying it out but couldn't hurt if I made a few bucks. Now my account is holding about 45$. Quite fast growth since you start out with 25. Wanna try?

tough luck.

Ever been in those situation where you dislike or uncomfortable with a situation or person, but you can't voice it out because, most probably, no one will care or even understand where your said feelings come from?

I'm on one right now.

Even if I voice out my feelings of discomfort, the people indirectly causing it haven't a clue why it discomforts me in the first place. Its also quite unfair because these people have no idea that what they're doing is causing me mental unrest.

So what should I do? Voice it out and be accused of blowing things out of proportion? Or just stay low and let it eat at me?

I always seem to take the second one. Because face facts, maybe I am overreacting, but that still doesn't make it okay.

Especially when someone so close to me probably won't notice it either.

In God we...?

"I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that I can't believe you anymore."

Its a simple enough word. Some people just do not understand the gravity that lies behind the word. Trust all in all is the placement of confidence in another to fulfill their promises or keep to their policies. Simple enough? Who do you trust? Your family? Your friends? Or more importantly, who do you trust the most? There's no accurate scale of how much trust you can place in a person. Its assumed that you will always place the most trust in your family, followed by friends, and occasionally, a person that's more than a friend. As trust is an investment, the more you invest, the more you get back. No?

Sadly, it works both ways. The more you invest, the more you stand to lose. Lose what you say? What exactly do you lose when you invest trust in a person who does not abide by it? Maybe family ties. Maybe friendships. Maybe relationships. Maybe even just a bit of your sanity. Now, what makes trust so strong that it may sever these bonds when it is not respected?

Because it is an investment of the soul. Trust binds people together. It connects them so strongly that almost every aspect of their lives can be shared with one another. Yet some people can break the trust placed wholeheartedly in them as easily as you can snap a twig. Snap. And the trust, the belief in that person flies out the window, and in flies hate, resentment, anger, irrational behavior. So next time, someone places their trust in you and you consent to it. Try respecting it.

People you like and people you don't (for no reason).

I was reading a Doreamon comic the other day (used to buy one every month) , and I was reading one particular chapter which proved to be funny to me as a kid but when I grew up I realised it was quite relevant in life now. The story starts with Nobita, Giant, Sinyu and the other kids playing baseball at the field. An unnamed character accidentally bumps Giant face first into a mud patch while trying to catch a ball. Seeing this, Nobita is in horror because he expects Giant to pummel him to dust or have his face punched in ala Doreamon comic style. Instead, the kid just apologises and Giant doesn't seem so angry after all. Nobita, thinking that God is funny and that Giant is passive today, tries to kick Giant and get the same reaction the other kid got.

He gets his face punched in.

Sometimes you really do feel sorry for him.

Well, anyway, he goes back with a black eye complaining to Doraemon about how it didn't work out the way he hoped so. Here, Doraemon explains that everybody does not treat everybody the same way. People will always like a certain type of person, whether the reason is known or not. Same goes to dislike, some people just don't like a certain type of person, again, known or unknown reason. Story cut short, Doraemon just gives Nobita some pills to make people like him no matter what and he misuses them (Nobita is a misunderstood genius) and in the end takes the wrong pills from Doraemon that make people hate him.

The point being, to make people like us no matter what we should get the pill right?

Yup, and we should ask Santa Claus for it.

No, life is just like that and unfortunately whether your working class or student or doing nothing. It happens. People may not like us for no reason and we might not like people for no reason. I've seen it a lot of times, I accidentally throw a ball to this guy's head, apologise, and get away scot- free. Another guy does it and he gets the pissing off of a lifetime, no matter how much he apologises. Just an example, it happens both ways. I'm late to a function and I get screwed over. Another guy does it and its all good. Why? I don't know. Maybe its in the genes. Maybe be its your face. Or maybe.. I just don't like you.

Went to a few open houses and got some ang pow and good food but overall the holidays just feel so dead. Haih, should really start on those electrical principles reports and start study for fluid mechanics and properties of materials but I feel so, so, so LIAT!
